The second type of question would be the open ended one which would include an explanation. Now these are the types of questions that cannot be answered by a simple yes or no but with an explanation. Now one does this if he wants to delve deeper into the mind of his client.

This would be the advice giving part and counsellors have to be careful how they present advice. They have to make sure that they are not forceful when giving advice or else it will not turn out well.
