A Read On Where Do We Go After Death

By Leslie Ball

What really happens when someone dies has remained a topic of discussion with opinions between scientists and spiritualists. The consciousness of the mind still functions even when the physical body has ceased to exist. The end of life is not death as the spirit world is our real home where we belong. Where do we go after death they have died is purely dependent on their beliefs and religion.

In the world today, people seem to know much about early things in more detail compared to previous years. When it comes to spiritual matters, people of the past had more knowledge concerning such matters. This information is not taught in schools as many people think it is old-fashioned and spends their lives ignorant of this topic.

When the body stops to function and the connection between the soul and the body is non-existent, true death takes place. The sooner someone accepts that they are dead, the sooner they undergo the real death. Such a person roams around where they used to live before they died for approximately a week or so.

Following their acceptance of this fateful occurrence, a spirit guide comes to visit them and leads them to the river that divides this world and the next. Depending on the religious background of the person, the spirit will take the form of a Christian priest, monk or angel. The appearance of the river Styx may differ from one person to another and once it is crossed, one cannot return to the physical world.

Souls of dead people are usually anxious to leave the world and go to the spiritual place and this causes them to stay for their funeral. People pass through a dark tunnel that leads to a light at the end that comes from heaven. Exorcism can be done for those spirits that have totally refused to leave earth causing disturbance to people.

Christians know very little about what happens between the period when someone dies and the last days when Christ will come up. The bible only talks about what will happen during resurrection and what will happen after that. Christians believe that the body and the soul do not separate after death but they both sleep until the coming of Christ on the last day.

Every person will meet their as it is an unavoidable part of life and scientists have researched and found some helpful information. One of them is that the body ceases to function but the brain still has its consciousness. This was tested in hospital where patients said that they knew what was going on around them when in a coma.

Some people know ahead of time when their time comes; terminal illnesses when early diagnosed will enable a person to set their issues in order and say goodbyes. In such cases, every victim is able to accept this situation peacefully and to gradually adjust to the situation. However, most people do not get this chance as their deaths are sudden.
