Is There Life After Death Theories

By Leslie Ball

One of the most well known unanswered questions in the world would be what lies after death. Now many people have been whether is there life after death or not because they are curious as to where they would go. Of course as humans have came up with a lot of theories that would try to answer these questions that have been bugging them at their doorstep for a very long time already.

Of course the most famous of all the beliefs would be the Heaven and Hell theory which can be found in pretty much all the religions there. The basic concept of this theory is that if one is good during his lifetime, then he will be able to enjoy himself forever in Heaven whereas if he has been bad, then he has to go through eternal suffering in Hell.

There is also a belief that when one dies, he will become a ghost that is said to roam the earth. Now this is a theory that is supported by all the supernatural ghost stories that are being told by many people. However, it is said that one will only become a ghost if he has not reached the afterlife yet.

Of course there would also be the very well known reincarnation theory which uses karma as a basis. For those who do not know, those who would get a lot of good karma will be reincarnated as a higher class human. Those who would get a lot of bad karma would usually be reincarnated as a bug or an animal.

Science also has its own theories about whether an actual afterlife exists or not. One of the more mind blowing theories would be the infinite universe wherein one never really dies. When one quote and unquote, dies, his atoms will just be scattered to different objects in the earth and his atoms that contain information from his previous life will be transferred to the next object that his atoms are scattered to.

Now the theory of parallel universes is also another very interesting one that is based on quantum physics. With this theory, one can say that the energy of a human will be transported to another multiverse. His energy will then enter an entity in that other parallel universe and will be reincarnated as something new.

Another theory that has a different twist to it would be the biocentrism theory that would state that there is no world unless the consciousness would put meaning in it. Basically, this theory supports the claims that there is no concept of time in human consciousness. So if one would mix this with the multiverse theory, he can say that the consciousness of a human can travel to another dimension and never die.

So as one can see, many interesting theories regarding the afterlife exist. So the big question would be which one is the real one. No one can really tell for sure unless he has already died.
