One has to prepare $15 for the processing fee. The state has kept records since July of 1948.

An application form has to be filled out with the information related to the divorce. The form should be submitted and it should also contain details about the individual who requested the file. One thing to keep in mind is that, the record can only be requested by the divorcees and their immediate families, otherwise a special request is made which includes an authorization letter.
